La Liga & Premier League clubs circle Luka Jovic
Mbappe aside, Luka Jovic is the most wanted young striker in the World. The Benfica striker who is on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt has scored 15 goals in the Bundesliga and 7 in the Europa league.
We reported earlier that Chelsea, Barcelona and Manchester City were in the race for Luka Jovic and now, Real Madrid have also expressed interest in the £40 million rated striker. Eintracht Frankfurt who will sign the striker for just £6 million from Benfica are reportedly ready to sell him out for a fee closer to 40 million.
Barcelona recently sent a team of Directors to scout the 21 year old. Marca confirmed that Eric Abidal, Ramon Planes and Pep Segura were at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza to watch Eintracht Frankfurt’s Europa League fixture against Inter Milan. The striker scored just 5 minutes into the game.
Chelsea have Giroud and Benzema who are both in their thirties but the London club have been slapped with a transfer ban which makes any deal for the striker impossible unless an appeal postpones the ban.
Pep Guardiola wants to take some pressure off Sergio Aguero who has entered his thirties while Zidane is looking to re-build an aging Real Madrid side. Currently, Barcelona are in the front of the race for Jovic but a bidding war for the Serbian striker seems certain to happen.
