Man City & Watford fans raging at FA Cup final ticket prices
Manchester City and Watford are set to clash at the Wembley on 18th May, 2019 in the FA Cup final. The FA released the prices of the tickets for the FA Cup final that costs upto £145 per seat.
The tickets are classified into 4 categories with the lowest at £45 per seat. However, the FA has only allocated 28,000 tickets for each club which accounts for only 80% of the seating capacity.
The prices of tickets for the cup finals are being increased drastically in Europe and fans of Basel FC have taken their fight against it to a whole new level. They have sold the tickets for £19 against the Swiss FA’s price of £38. They have offered a take it or leave it ultimatum to the Swiss FA.
Here are some of the fans reaction on social media to the FA increasing the FA Cup Final prices:
Manchester City FC has been the victim of social media bashing for not being able to sell out tickets especially at Wembley where they played their semi-final fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion. Their fans argue that the increase in prices have actually made them prioritise fixtures and spend wisely as the club are in the hunt for an unprecedented domestic treble.
Watford fans are upset at the ticket prices and some fans have confirmed they can’t afford the price to watch their team in the FA Cup final, which is just the second in the club’s entire history.
