Everton sack Marco Silva and place Duncan Ferguson in-charge
Everton have parted ways with Marco Silva after the club slumped to a humiliating 5-2 loss against Liverpool at Anfield. The former Watford manager leaves the club after being incharge for 18 months.
As per reports from the Mirror, Everton owner Farhad Moshiri had made the decision to fire Silva after the club lost to bottom-placed Norwich City. Everton have temporarily put club idol Duncan Ferguson in-charge as the search for the permanent manager continues.

Duncan Ferguson has taken temporary charge of the first team and will manage the side for the game against Chelsea on Saturday.
The Club aims to confirm a new permanent manager as swiftly as possible.
Some of the names linked with Everton for the managerial role are Diego Simeone, David Moyes and Alan Pardew.
