Leicester City to provide Brendan with 200 million transfer budget
Brendan Rodgers - Leicester City manager
Newly appointed Manager Brendan Rodgers will be given a massive transfer kitty by the Leicester board to rebuild the club. Rodgers quit Scottish Champions to replace Claude Puel at the King Power Stadium.
The former Swansea and Liverpool boss has identified Callum Wilson as his number one target. The Cherries striker has been in fine form this season scoring 10 goals from 21 matches in the Premier League. Any bid for the striker must be in the region of £ 40 million for Bournemouth to consider parting with their star.
The Leicester squad boasts Harry Maguire, James Maddison, Ben Chilwell, Jamie Vardy and Demarai Gray. Rodgers will try to hold on to these players despite reports of Tottenham being interested in Maddison to replace Eriksen and Manchester City supposedly targeting Ben Chilwell.
