Pep Guardiola: I am ‘100 Percent’ Staying at Manchester City Next Season
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has rubbished rumours of an exit in the Summer by re-iterating his desire to stay at the club. The former Barcelona manager is contracted to the English Champions until the summer of 2021.
Pep Guardiola, 48, has lead Manchester City to two Premier League titles and an unprecedented domestic treble breaking records in the process. However, the media keeps linking him with a move away from the English Champions.
The Manchester City manager has put an end to all speculation by strongly admitting that he is set to stay at the club until the end of his current contract at the very least unless the club fires him.
“I’m staying unless they sack me – 100 per cent, unless they don’t like it. I’ve said it many times. Not because we won the last two games. I’m sorry, I’m going to stay.
I enjoy working with them, I like it. But even if it was going bad I’m not going anywhere. No manager wins all the time, we’ve lost some games so what can we do to get better, it’s simple.”
