Salah wants Barcelona move to win trophies
After the humiliating defeat suffered by Liverpool at the hands of the Catalan giants Barcelona, Mohamed Salah has told Lionel Messi that he would like to be part of the Blaugranes as per reports from Fox Sports Asia.
Despite Salah’s impressive form in Liverpool colours for the past two seasons, the club has failed to win even a single trophy. After playing at the Camp Nou and experiencing such an atmosphere, Salah’s intent to play for Liverpool shouldn’t come as a surprise after he watched Lionel Messi make Liverpool look like a class below Barcelona.
Coutinho is not a fan favourite at the Camp Nou and was the subject of whistles from the home crowd in the Champions League semi-final match. With Coutinho’s future being uncertain and Dembele struggling with inconsistency, Salah would be the perfect signing for Barcelona.
Liverpool would be interested in a swap deal that would see Ousmane Dembele move to Anfield but it remains to be seen if Barcelona entertain such an idea.
Real Madrid were interested in Mo Salah as per reports from AS a few weeks back but the Liverpool player’s agent took to twitter to rule out such a move.
If Barcelona manage to sign the Liverpool winger, it will be an off-field victory for the Catalan giants over their arch-rivals Real Madrid but it won’t just stop there. It would also lead to any move from Real Madrid for Sadio Mane get rejected by Liverpool as the English club won’t let go off both their first choice wingers in the same transfer window.
