Emirates FA Cup

The draw for the FA cup is over and the remaining teams have learned who their opponents are. The matches will take place at the Wembley on April 6th and 7th. At this stage of the competition, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that only Premier League sides are left.

FA Cup 2018/19 semi-final ties

Wolverhampton Wanderers who face Watford in the semis have already knocked out Liverpool and Manchester United. Nuno’s side are the biggest threat out of the remaining sides to Manchester City who are heavy favourites to lift the FA Cup.

Man City will face Chris Hughton’s Brighton and Hove Albion in the other semifinal. Man City survived a Swansea City scare in the quarter final. From being 2-0 down at half-time, they won the tie 2-3 at the Liberty stadium with goals from Bernardo Silva and Aguero.

Brighton also staged a late come back to level the tie with Millwall 2-2 after being 2-0 down until the 88th minute. The seagulls went on the win the game via penalties in sudden death.

The FA Cup final is scheduled to take place at the Wembley stadium on May 18.
