Rakitic is staying at Barcelona
Spanish news outlet Marca’s latest report suggests that Rakitic wants to stay at Barcelona after the club’s 4-2 win over Sevilla. Amidst interest from Manchester United, Bayern Munchen and PSG, the Croatian has expressed desire to stay at the capital of Catalonia for the reminder of his contract. It is worth noting that Rakitic’s contract doesn’t expire until 2021.
Rakitic’s good run of form continued as he picked up an assist for Messi’s goal in Barca’s win over Sevilla. Rakitic has said “I have three more years on my contract, I want to stay here. I’m full of pride that big clubs ask for me, if they do. I only see myself at Barcelona, it makes me laugh a little when I have my morning coffee.”
